St. Petersburg, November 30, Interfax - A new cat will appear at the service in the Peter and Paul Fortress, the press service of the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg reports.
She will catch rodents in the Peter and Paul Cathedral.
"Kapitolina cat has been working at this place for more than 20 years. At the beginning of autumn, her life path came to an end," the message says.
Her successor will be the cat Seraphima who previously lived in the Hermitage.
Anna Kondratyeva, director of the Republic of Cats art space, veterinarian of the Hermitage cats, will give Seraphima to the Museum of History of St. Petersburg on Tuesday.
