Court in Moscow fines Muz-TV 1 mln rubles for propaganda of homosexuality among minors

Moscow, November 17, Interfax - Moscow's Basmanny District Court has fined the Muz-TV television channel one million rubles for propaganda of homosexuality among minors.

"The Muz-TV operational company has been penalized with an administrative fine of one million rubles," the court's press service told Interfax on Wednesday.

The company was found guilty of propaganda of homosexuality among minors.

The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) said earlier that it would examine videos of the Muz-TV award ceremony aired on June 4, 2021.

The media said that singers Filipp Kirkorov and Dava (David Manukyan) arrived at the award ceremony with a group of half-naked men, while bloggers Igor Sinyak and Danya Milokhin were dressed in costumes with elements of traditional female wear.
