Jewish publishing house refuses to participate in a book fair as it falls on Passover

Moscow, March 23, Interfax - The Knizhniki Publishing House is not going to participate in Non/fiction Book Fair this year in Moscow on March 24-28.

"It happened as its date was moved. It falls on Passover (March 27 - IF). Of course, someone would look for the tricks, how to trade on Saturdays and feasts, but it seems absolutely wrong to me. And impractical," head of the Publishing House and spokesman of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia Boruch Gorin told Interfax.

He urges readers to support the publishers financially and buy Knizhniki books at the original bookstore and official website, not waiting for their participation in book fairs.

The annual Non/fiction book fair will be held in Moscow exhibition hall Gostiny Dvor. In 2020, it was held online because of coronavirus pandemic.
