Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan postponed to next year

Nur-Sultan, February 12, Interfax - The next Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions will be held in Kazakhstan in 2022, Prime Minister Askar Mamin said on Friday.

"The Congresses of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions will be held in 2022 and 2025," he said at an expanded meeting of the Nur Otan faction of the Kazakh party in parliament.

Earlier it was reported that the next Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions is planned to be held on June 15-16, 2021.

This forum has been held in the capital of Kazakhstan on the initiative of the first president of the republic, Nursultan Nazarbayev, since 2003.
