Catholics conveyed a church in the center of Spanish Granada to Moscow Patriarchate

Moscow, October 15, Interfax - The Catholic Archdiocese of Granada has transferred the Church of Apostle Bartholomew in the center of this Spanish city to the parish of the Moscow Patriarchate, the website of the Russian Orthodox Church reported on Thursday.

Corresponding agreement was reached at a meeting between Archbishop Nestor of Madrid and Lisbon and Archbishop Francisco Javier Martinez Fernandez of Granada.

After the Liturgy on the feast of Protection of the Holy Virgin, Archbishop Nestor discussed with the parishioners the prospects of developing the parish and moving to a new building provided by the Catholic Archdiocese of Granada.
