Kiev, May 25, Interfax - The Kiev Lavra of the Caves monastery has reopened following quarantine, the press service for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church said in a statement on Facebook.
"Our main holy place, the Kiev Lavra, reopened at 9:00 a.m. today. Quarantine has been lifted," the statement said.
This main monastery of Ukraine was closed on March 22, due to a large coronavirus outbreak. Services were held without its congregation present and were broadcast online.
