Police talked to Metropolitan Longin of Saratov as he came to the market without a mask

Moscow, May 22, Interfax - Police officials together with journalists on Friday inspected markets of Saratov to find out violators of the "mask regimen," press secretary of the regional Interior Ministry office Anastasia Zakharova told Interfax.

"Policemen had a talk with all citizens who came to markets without masks," she said.

Journalists, who also participated in the inspection, in their turn wrote that policemen stopped Metropolitan Longin of Saratov and Volsk in rows with vegetables and fruit at the Sennoy Market.

"The ruling hierarch was near the counter with vegetables without a face mask," one of the local media reported. Policemen asked the family of the hierarch and had a talk with him about necessity of observing mask regimen.

They did not issue an administrative protocol on the metropolitan. As was reported, earlier Metropolitan Longin publicly refused to close regional churches on Easter.
