Twenty-four Moscow clerics diagnosed with Covid-19

Moscow, April 17, Interfax - As of April 16, coronavirus infection has been identified in 24 of the clerics of the Moscow archbishopric doing their work of penance in 15 Moscow churches and two monasteries.

Another 31 clerics from 14 churches and one monastery currently have coronavirus infection symptoms, but the diagnosis has not yet been confirmed, the working group reporting to the patriarch said on Thursday.

Five monks not ordained to the priesthood, who work and live in four different monasteries, have had their Covid-19 diagnosis confirmed. Another four such monks, all living in one monastery, have coronavirus infection symptoms but no confirmed diagnosis yet.
