Moscow, March 18, Interfax - The series of false bomb threats continued in Moscow, with over 600 facilities receiving bomb threats on Tuesday, a source familiar with the situation told Interfax on Wednesday.
"Anonymous individuals made bomb threats against almost 100 education establishments yesterday, all 232 metro stations, some 200 retail outlets, and 15 district courts," the source said.
Reports on bombs planted on 80 Moscow bridges and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior were also checked, he said.
"The evacuation was minimal, some 1,500 people. None of the threats was confirmed," the source said.
Anonymous bomb threats were made against some 1,000 facilities in Moscow on Monday. Over 15,000 people had to be evacuated, sources told Interfax.
