Zelensky discusses Crimea, Donbass with Patriarch Bartholomew

Kiev, August 9, Interfax - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said he discussed the situation in Donbass, the problem of Crimea, and some other relevant subjects with Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople at their meeting in the Phanar (the seat of the patriarch in Istanbul, Turkey).

"We talked about everything, like the situation in Ukraine, the unification of Ukraine, the war in Donbass, the return of Crimea - everything that concerns everybody. I am glad that we have very strong support here not only at the political level," Zelensky said in an interview with the 1+1 television channel in Istanbul following the meeting.
