Nalchik, May 22, Interfax - People have been evacuated from the mosque in downtown Nalchik, an employee of Kabardino-Balkaria's Spiritual Muslim Board told Interfax on Wednesday.
"The employees have been evacuated from the building of the mosque at Shogentsukov Avenue. No act of worship was being held when the bomb threat call was received," the employee said.
The police cordoned the mosque off, and teams of dog handlers are involved in the check of the building, the employee said.
"No other mosques in the republic received calls with bomb threats," the employee said.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, people were evacuated from the building of the Muslim board in Makhachkala, Dagestan, over a bomb threat.
