U.S. embassy concerned by Kiev's St. Andrew Church attack

Kiev, November 15, Interfax - The U.S.' embassy to Ukraine has been concerned about an incident at Kiev's St. Andrew's Church, which unidentified attackers tried to set on fire.

"We are very concerned by reports of an attack on St. Andrew's Church in Kiev today. We support the right of all religious groups to practice their beliefs free from persecution, interference, or attack," the embassy said on Twitter.

As reported, unknown assailants on Thursday morning threw "Molotov's cocktails" into the St. Andrew's Church building, which is currently under reconstruction in Kiev and was handed over to the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
