Moscow, July 30, Interfax - The police have tightened security at the enterprise Sofrino at the request of a Russian Orthodox Church official, a source in the Moscow Region's administration told Interfax on Monday.
"Searches are not being conducted at Sofrino. Security has been tightened at the request of a Russian Orthodox Church official until a new general director of the enterprise is appointed," the source said.
The media reported earlier that searches were being conducted.
Patriarch Kirill has relieved Yevgeny Parkhayev, the general director of Sofrino, of all the posts he held in the Russian Church.
