Moscow, June 20, Interfax - Artists, who are specializing in painting icons for churches, decorated with frescoes the Museum of Ball opened in Sochi.
"The decoration is very interesting," head of the Severny Kavkaz exhibition center Irina Guilli was quoted as saying by the Vestnik Kavkaza website.
One of the frescoes shows how other renowned footballers hold in their arms famous Argentinian football player Lionel Messi.
"You can come closer and join them, the depiction is very realistic, anyone can feel as its participant," head of the museum said.
There are about 800 balls in the collection, some of them are from football world cups and champions leagues, national cups and old balls, for example, the ball of the 19th century from sheep leather filled with dust.
