Accusations in Skripal's case before investigation are nonsense, Metropolitan Hilarion believes

*** He doubts that investigation will be unprejudiced

Moscow, March 27, Interfax - Head of the Synodal Department for External Church Relations Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk is sure that it is impossible to accuse Russia of Skripal's case before the investigation is accomplished.

"Accusations addressed to Russia before the results of investigation is nonsense from the point of diplomacy. It is impossible to accuse the country before the investigation is over," he said on air The Church and the World TV program on Rossiya-24 channel.

The metropolitan expressed doubts that this investigation will be objective. "It is not by chance that Russia will not be allowed to this investigation."

Commenting the response measures against Great Britain, the hierarch noted that "diplomatic practice envisages such measures and naturally these measures will be applied."
