Moscow, September 1, Interfax - More than 200,000 Muslims attended Kurban Bayram (Eid al-Adha) festivities in Moscow, the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry's Moscow branch told Interfax.
No incidents have been reported, it said.
"Moscow police personnel, working together with Russian National Guard, have been ensuring public order and security in places where religious rites dedicated to the Kurban Bayram holiday have been held," the press service said.
"More than 200,000 worshippers have taken part in these events. There have been no public order offenses," it said.
