Moscow, October 11, Interfax - The Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center has been built on Branly Embankment in Paris, but the term of its entry into service is a political issue, a source with the knowledge of the situation told Interfax.
"The Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center is fully ready for entry into service," the source said.
The source said that "an exhibition was set up by the time of Russian President Vladimir Putin's planned visit to Paris."
"The issue of opening of the complex, the building of which commenced on Branly Embankment in April 2015, lies in the political sphere," the source said.
It was reported earlier on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin cancelled his visit to Paris, which was scheduled for October 19.
