St. Petersburg, May 13, Interfax - Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) organizations of St. Petersburg say that authorities allowed them to hold a rally at the Field of Mars on the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia on May 17.
Activists have developed several ways to participate in the rally on-line for those who can not attend the rally, which mostly apply to users of Vkontakte social network, Coming Out organization said in a press release.
Interfax does not have a comment of St. Petersburg authorities on the issue.
