22 January 2020, 15:58Russian embassy in Israel not commenting on reports on giving Russia rights to Alexander's metochion in Jerusalem
Moscow, January 22, Interfax - The Russian embassy in Israel does not comment on the information on the transfer by Israel to Russia of the rights to Alexander's metochion in Jerusalem, Alexander Gavrilov, press attache of the Russian diplomatic mission, told Interfax.
"We learned that from the news, but we are not commenting on this information," Gavrilov told the agency on Wednesday.
Israel made a decision on the legal status of Alexander's metochion in Russia's favor back in late 2019, giving it the rights over the facility, the newspaper The Jerusalem Post reported, citing an official document. |
